User:NordicSea/sandbox NordicSea (talk) 17:10, 30 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
WP:DRAFTIFY =) LuniZunie ツ(talk) 17:11, 30 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Apologies LuniZunie, i dont know how to do this. Could you possibly move it to draftify? NordicSea (talk) 17:17, 30 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@NordicSea Go to your sandbox and there should be a button that allows you to submit. LuniZunie ツ(talk) 17:22, 30 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
thanks a lot for your help! Sorry I m learning to create articles, next time I ll get better at it. :) NordicSea (talk) 17:29, 30 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah of course! And it's all good. I moved your draft over to Draft:Ehsan Adouane so that it is in the draft space. Message me on my talk page if you need anything. LuniZunie ツ(talk) 17:30, 30 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
very kind! One last question, do i need to do anything now or I just wait for the validation of the article that would happen in the future? NordicSea (talk) 17:31, 30 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@NordicSea You can just wait and it will eventually be checked. You'll likely get a message here on your talk page. Unfortunately, we currently have over 2.5k drafts waiting, so it might take a bit. The order that we check them is completely random though, so there is no tell on when yours will be checked. I did clean up the draft a bit, and I would suggest maybe adding some more citations. But yeah, everything on the reviewing end will be done by us. LuniZunie ツ(talk) 17:36, 30 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
very kind, thanks a lot! I saw it looks much better already.
Take care. NordicSea (talk) 09:52, 31 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

You too =D And happy editing! p.s. if you ever need help just send me a message on my talk page, I am always glad to help. LuniZunie ツ(talk) 10:05, 31 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Lunizunie my draft was declined with the mention that "interviews" dont count as notability. Why dont they? These are interviews made by some of the largest media companies (BBC, Al Arabiya etc) - should I add the below paragraph?
== Media coverage and recognition ==
Adouane’s work has been the subject of multiple independent news features, including profiles in *Gulf News*, *Entrepreneur*, *Svenska Dagbladet Junior*, and the *Johns Hopkins CTY Bright Now* blog.[1] He has also been featured on *BBC Tech Life* and *Al Arabiya* for his educational projects and public speaking on science and technology.[2] NordicSea (talk) 13:07, 15 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Your submission at Articles for creation: Ehsan Adouane (November 13)

[edit]
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Lovelyfurball was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The comment the reviewer left was:
Interviews don't contribute towards notability
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

Thank you for taking the time to review! :)
You mentioned that interviews don t contribute towards notability. Could you pls give me specific examples of notability items so I could include them in the draft? He has been interviewed many times in global media press and TV. What could count towards the notability?
Kind regards NordicSea (talk) 12:59, 15 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, These are interviews from TV Channels and newspaper. Why do they not count towards notability pls?
Thanks a lot for your guidance. NordicSea (talk) 17:45, 15 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Interviews are the person speaking about themselves, which is not an independent source. Only independent reliable sources contribute to notability. We want to know what others choose on their own to say about him, not what he says about himself. 331dot (talk) 08:57, 16 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Ok now I understand, thanks vm for the precision. How about the article below:
https://www.entrepreneur.com/en-ae/entrepreneurs/young-visionary-how-12-year-old-ehsan-adouane-is-inspiring/498848
would that count as being written by an independent source? NordicSea (talk) 17:41, 22 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
That's another interview. 331dot (talk) 17:51, 22 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
yes an interview of him. You there should be articles about him but not interviews. Understood I will have a look, thanks a lot. NordicSea (talk) 17:54, 22 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you so much for your precisions, I will work on the draft again! NordicSea (talk) 17:38, 22 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
