[edit] Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. MrOllie (talk) 17:05, 13 May 2025 (UTC)
- Referencing the company with patent is a historical fact. Similar to the statements you left in regarding BASF having the patent on the foam version. Nexcem19 (talk) 20:25, 13 May 2025 (UTC)
- It is also not well known - which is why I also cited the independent article that confirms the same information that I provided Nexcem19 (talk) 20:26, 13 May 2025 (UTC)
- You should not be adding your company's name or otherwise writing about it, not even for a 'historical fact.' You added an unreliable source as a citation, and that this is 'not well known' is precisely why it ought to be left out. MrOllie (talk) 20:38, 13 May 2025 (UTC)
- I think you are being intransigent in your position and just want to be right. By your logic, you should also remove BASF in the history as it is also a company. Nexcem19 (talk) 16:17, 23 May 2025 (UTC)
- I also gave you a link to Rastra which is a company trademark. That should be removed as well I suppose. Nexcem19 (talk) 16:19, 23 May 2025 (UTC)
- Here is the link to the Canadian patent by Durisol, August Shnell and Brossard

- Well known enough? Nexcem19 (talk) 16:22, 23 May 2025 (UTC)

- This is all irrelevant to the issue at hand - Wikipedia is not a place for you to promote or otherwise write about your company. MrOllie (talk) 16:40, 23 May 2025 (UTC)
- It is not promotion. It is education on the true history of the product. Just because it is our company providing the historical facts (who else would know?), doesn't mean it's promotion.
- You just want to be right Nexcem19 (talk) 16:43, 23 May 2025 (UTC)
- You are obviously attempting to promote your company, and that is simply not what Wikipedia is for. MrOllie (talk) 16:46, 23 May 2025 (UTC)
