Links to draft articles
[edit] Please do not introduce links to draft articles in actual articles, as you did to Acton-Boxborough Regional School District. Since a draft is not yet ready for the main article space, it is not in shape for ordinary readers, and links from articles should not go to a draft. Such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been removed. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 10:15, 23 April 2025 (UTC)
Your submission at Articles for creation: RJ Grey Junior High School (April 24)
[edit]
- Hello. Why wouldn't this junior highschool be considered notable because the highschool within the same district has its own Wikipedia page (Acton-Boxborough Regional Highschool). What makes this one different? MohanDay29 (talk) 01:45, 24 April 2025 (UTC)
- Each draft is considered on its own merits, this project is over 20 years old and during that time criteria has changed. An article that was acceptable in the past may not be so anymore and no one has gotten around to fixing or removing it yet. At one point it was deemed almost every school was notable, however the consensus came to be that that was contrary to the purpose of having a notable standard. Now most Elementary, Junior or High schools are not notable unless they have been covered extensively in reliable sources, as per WP:NORG. Your draft so far has only been acting as a supplementary link farm and website for your school with zero indication that anyone outside the school district has even taken the time to write about it in any detail.
