[edit] Hello, I'm Magnolia677. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Heart Lake (Ontario), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 11:32, 21 May 2025 (UTC)

[edit] Please do not add or change content, as you did at Heart Lake (Ontario), without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources to see how to add references to an article. Your edits were only partially supported by the sources cited, with much of it appearing to be original research, which is not permitted. Magnolia677 (talk) 10:54, 6 June 2025 (UTC)
- The sources cited were official reports created for the City of Brampton that included comprehensive historical information prepared by researchers for the city on the Heart Lake location and surrounding areas, including the lake itself, and official city ByLaws that included information on the development of the Heart Lake community, as well as a Brampton history book. If one reads through them they can see this. Historical information on this location is very hard to come by from any other published official sources, and the sources cited are well-researched. If that kind of deep-dive research is not good enough or appreciated, the page will stay a basic, unresearched entry and I will no longer contribute to bettering or improving it. With this edit at Boyd Conservation Area, you added this URL as a source. Could you please link to the URL of the specific web page where the referenced content can be found, per WP:CITEWEB? Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 13:06, 6 June 2025 (UTC)
