I have edited the Mangarrayi page to remove the lable "extinct" as there are at least two known speakers. I have had personal contact and communication with these 2 speakers since 1994 and as recently as November last year. I have personally communicated with them in Mangarrayi and they have also contributed to the cited book. The current accepted spelling of the language by the community and linguists working with that language is Mangarrayi. This can also be seen in the cited work as well as Mangarrayi and Yangman plants and animals : Aboriginal biocultural knowledge from Elsey and the Roper River, north Australia / Jessie Garalnganyjak Roberts ...
