I've removed the image you added to Richard D'Oyly Carte's article because it sandwiched the text between it and the opposite image, which we don't do. But please don't be discouraged by that and I hope you'll keep editing. Best wishes, Tim riley talk 18:05, 21 August 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Hello. Articles should be illustrated with a reasonable number (and size) of images that should not generally extend beyond the text and should not pinch the text. Captions should be as concise as possible. If an article is already adequately illustrated, any new image should be demonstrably better than one that is removed to make room for it.
