In the Waste Section you might be able to link each of the forms of waste to other pages in Wikipedia and then have to write less on this section

In 1980s to 2000s section sentence:"While Lean Six Sigma developed as a specific process of Lean Six Sigma, it also incorporates ideas from lean manufacturing," is potentially confusing

Sentence: "While different sectors of the economy sell different "products" and have different "customers", Lean Six Sigma principles can still be applied with slight alterations in wording and processes." could be expanded to show how customers and products differ between manufacturing and other sectors, or make subsections for how lean 6 sigma has been applied in each of these different industries

The section about IASSC might fit better in a new section just pertaining to certifications. Also, are there different companies that offer these certifications?

Tools for Lean and 6 sigma section could be linked to other areas of wikipedia such as Total productive maintenance
