Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because it appears to be mainly intended for publicity and/or promotional purposes. If you intend to edit constructively in other topic areas, you may be granted the right to continue under a change of username. Please read the following carefully.
Why can't I edit Wikipedia?

Your account's edits and/or username indicate that it is being used on behalf of a company, group, website or organization for purposes of promotion and/or publicity. The edits may have violated one or more of our rules on spamming, which include: adding inappropriate external links, posting advertisements and using Wikipedia for promotion. Wikipedia has many articles on companies, groups, and organizations, but such groups are generally discouraged from using Wikipedia to write about themselves. In addition, usernames like yours are disallowed under our username policy.

Am I allowed to make these edits if I change my username?

Probably not, although if you can demonstrate a pattern of future editing in strict accordance with our neutral point of view policy, you may be granted this right. See Wikipedia's FAQ for Organizations for a helpful list of frequently asked questions by people in your position. Also, review the conflict of interest guidance to see the kinds of limitations you would have to obey if you did want to continue editing about your company, group, organization, or clients. If this does not fit in with your goals, then you will not be allowed to edit again.

What can I do now?

If you have no interest in writing about some other topic than your organization, group, company, or product, you will probably not be allowed to edit Wikipedia again. Consider using one of the many websites that allow this instead.

If you do intend to make useful contributions about some other topic, you must convince a Wikipedia administrator that you mean it. To that end, please do the following:

  • Add the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} on your user talk page.
  • Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:Listusers to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy.
  • Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:
    • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the edits for which you were blocked.
    • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Alexf(talk) 17:20, 2 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
This user is asking to be unblocked to request a change in username.

Requested username:

Request reason:
i understood the reason of the block, I was not aware that adding links to the text (note that they were relevant links to the content) is not in your policy, my company changed it's logo and information of the activity, I would like to request to make the "Ceva" company page accurate with the new logo (currently it is with the old one in the Hebrew version), along with employees number info that wasn't up to date and more demographic info, hoping to make the wikipedia content accurate, thanks

Administrators should consider discussing any unblock with the blocking administrator (see the blocking policy).

Administrator use only:

If you ask the blocking administrator to comment on this request, please replace this template with the following:

{{unblock-un on hold | 1=blocking administrator | 2=MMSH30 | 3=i understood the reason of the block, I was not aware that adding links to the text (note that they were relevant links to the content) is not in your policy, my company changed it's logo and information of the activity, I would like to request to make the "Ceva" company page accurate with the new logo (currently it is with the old one in the Hebrew version), along with employees number info that wasn't up to date and more demographic info, hoping to make the wikipedia content accurate, thanks | 4=~~~~}}

If you accept the unblock request, replace this template with the following:

{{unblock-un reviewed | 1=MMSH30 | reason=i understood the reason of the block, I was not aware that adding links to the text (note that they were relevant links to the content) is not in your policy, my company changed it's logo and information of the activity, I would like to request to make the "Ceva" company page accurate with the new logo (currently it is with the old one in the Hebrew version), along with employees number info that wasn't up to date and more demographic info, hoping to make the wikipedia content accurate, thanks | accept=Allowing username change to requested username. Please select an option from [[Wikipedia:Changing username]] and file a request as soon as possible to avoid re-blocking. ~~~~}}

If you decline the unblock request, replace this template with the following, replacing {{subst:Decline reason here}} with any specific rationale. If you do not edit the text after "decline=", a default reason why the request was declined will be inserted.

{{unblock-un reviewed | 1=MMSH30 | reason=i understood the reason of the block, I was not aware that adding links to the text (note that they were relevant links to the content) is not in your policy, my company changed it's logo and information of the activity, I would like to request to make the "Ceva" company page accurate with the new logo (currently it is with the old one in the Hebrew version), along with employees number info that wasn't up to date and more demographic info, hoping to make the wikipedia content accurate, thanks | decline={{subst:Decline reason here}} ~~~~}}

Ampersands are not permitted in usernames for technical reasons; otherwise that would be fine as a new username.

This account was blocked 12 years ago; are you the same operator? Any particular reason you waited this long to request unblock? Please see conflict of interest and paid editing. The Hebrew Wikipedia is a separate project where you are not blocked. Upon seeing the article about your company I'm skeptical that it actually merits an article according to our criteria, though that's a separate issue from the block. 331dot (talk) 21:59, 15 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I'm working for the company as their digital marketing, they recently rebranded, so this is the reason for the request after a long time. I try to make a change to the new logo in the Hebrew version and that's where I get also a block note.. 80.179.126.190 (talk) 08:37, 18 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Please log in when posting, so we know it's you. So you are the same operator as 12 years ago? 331dot (talk) 08:43, 18 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
yes Cevadsp (talk) 06:28, 19 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I attempted to rename your account, but the username "Maayani" exists, and the system does not allow usernames that are similar(like your choice). Please choose something else. 331dot (talk) 08:52, 19 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
can we use 'CevaMarketing' ? if not here are other options: 'MMSH30', '302025mi' Cevadsp (talk) 18:20, 19 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
CevaMarketing is not possible, because that would be a company account. I think MMSH30 and 302025mi would be okay. PhilKnight (talk) 19:34, 19 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I have renamed you to MMSH30. PhilKnight (talk) 19:35, 19 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
thanks! so what I need to do next to edit? looks like I'm still blocked?
need to update the new logo in this version of the wekipedia page: https://he.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D7%A1%D7%99%D7%95%D7%94_(%D7%97%D7%91%D7%A8%D7%94_%D7%98%D7%9B%D7%A0%D7%95%D7%9C%D7%95%D7%92%D7%99%D7%AA) MMSH30 (talk) 07:01, 20 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I'm still blocked.. MMSH30 (talk) 09:22, 25 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@MMSH30: Your block is still awaiting review by an administrator. Your request is only one of many in the queue of unblock requests; there is no set order to which blocks are reviewed, and no promise of any time in which they will be reviewed. Administrators, like all other Wikipedia users, are volunteers editing in their free time. Your request may be waiting for several days or even weeks, depending on the backlog. Until then, there is nothing for you to do except to be patient and wait your turn. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 17:21, 27 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
