Information icon Hello, I'm Fifteen thousand two hundred twenty four. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Cheyney Ryan, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! fifteen thousand two hundred twenty four (talk) 04:20, 9 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I add material to bios of political philosophers. Everything you have deleted is in the websites of the Oxford Consoortium for Human Rights, or Ryans websites, or related website like Ryan's father Robert Ryan, where C Ryan is referenced. Please restore your deletions. Loesser (talk) 06:49, 9 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
The contributions are accessible in the article's history, please do not restore any of the removed content without providing sources as stated at WP:BURDEN.
Information on Wikipedia needs to be verifiable which means providing references from reliable sources. Sources written by an article's subject must be used with care as described at WP:BLPSELFPUB, and accounts by a subject's family would count as a primary source and their use is cautioned against at WP:BLPPRIMARY. You can visit this part of the Introduction for a quick course on referencing.
Also, per WP:BLPNAME, it is generally best to not include the names of non-notable family members, and the inclusion of such names is forbidden if not attested to by a reliable source. Thank you. fifteen thousand two hundred twenty four (talk) 07:31, 9 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that your recent edit to Robert Ryan did not have an edit summary. Collaboration among editors is fundamental to Wikipedia, and every edit should be explained by a clear edit summary, or by discussion on the Talk page. Please use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to describe what it changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.

The edit summary field looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. When logged in to your Wikipedia account, you can give yourself a reminder by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary (or the default undo summary), and then click the "Save" button. Thanks! Janan2025 (talk) 06:43, 9 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
