I made the Listingbook page as sparse as possible. Does this really count as "blatant advertising?" If so, there are literally tens of thousands of pages that I would like to request the deletion of. How do I do that? I would like to begin as soon as possible.
- I would recommend talking to User:Postdlf, the admin who deleted the article. Maybe they can move it into a "sandbox" so that you can work on the page yourself. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshells• Otter chirps • HELP!) 22:06, 31 July 2008 (UTC)
- Literally tens of thousands, huh? You've been quite a busy reader. But I suggest you get better acquainted with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, by reading through the above links I provided, as well as guidelines such as WP:CORP concerning what topics merit inclusion on Wikipedia and what content is appropriate. You're quite right. I'm a fantastically busy reader. Being the reader that I am, I have indeed read through Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. I am much more interested now in knowing how to request deletions. I don't intend to become any more obnoxious than I currently am, but if rules are rules than I would like to get rid of blatant advertising in the same manner that you are.

[edit] Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! I edit Wikipedia too, under the username Tide rolls. I noticed that one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Eric Cantor with this edit, appeared to be unconstructive, and I’ve reverted it. In the future, I recommend you use the sandbox for testing. It also helps to let other people know about your change to Wikipedia with an informative edit summary. Please feel free to ask me questions about editing Wikipedia (or anything else) on my talk page. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thanks! Tiderolls 20:26, 23 July 2011 (UTC)
