Does it make sense to add this new content to the proposed article? The first sentence is in the Wiki article, it's just phrased differently in the "Function" section. The second sentence is really good to add!! Very interesting information; I am curious to see where you add it.
Are there any other areas of the main article that your classmate could contribute to? This Wiki article does not have much in it; I think you could go wild! I think adding a sections titled "conditions" (or something to that affect) and listing some conditions associated with mutations, high/low levels, conditions that this hormone is related to.
