[edit]I greatly appreciate your efforts in reverting the racist vandalism on the Musqueam and Tsleil-waututh pages. hay čxʷ q̓a ("thank you") 76.66.145.102 (talk) 10:56, 20 February 2023 (UTC)
- Your welcome. The Squamish nation was vandalised similarly to the Tsleil-waututh one. I have considered writing about it on other internet communities, but refrained, as I don't want to encourage other's to do the same. Though it's nice that you noticed my reverts.
- I don't know if this is significant enough to be worth notifying the respective nations on. LiamM32 (talk) 07:30, 22 February 2023 (UTC)
Collaboration On Georgism-Related Topics
[edit]Hello LiamM32. I believe that we both share an interest in topics related to Georgism, economics, and history. I'm working on a draft for Freiland, which is a similar yet different alternative to the Georgist approach to land reform. It was proposed by Silvio Gesell as part of his Freiwirtschaft theory and proposal. I might later decide to merge the draft into the Freiwirtschaft article though, since Freiland only exists as a subsection on the German Wikipedia: de:Freiwirtschaft#Freiland.
I'm trying to find for sources to complete the Freiland article, but there may be a language barrier to finishing the article, since many of the sources that talk about it are written in German and Spanish instead of English. Due to their histories and spreads of influence, Georgism is more well known in the Anglosphere, whereas Freiland and Freiwirtschaft are more well-known in the German-speaking and Spanish-speaking worlds.
I believe you have some fluency in German, and thus might be able to help with this project, if you're interested. I'm also in the process of helping translate the de:Silvio Gesell German article into the Silvio Gesell English article with another editor. Since I don't speak German, I've been using Google Translate and my general knowledge about Silvio Gesell to refine the translations made by the other editor. Ideally, I'd also like to see de:Freiwirtschaft translated into English, if possible. I think it would be awesome if we could potentially edit some articles together.
