Abortion: This is a great topic to investigate further but it is vital to research beyond religion. Human rights, politics, and sociology contributing to the issue of abortion are all contributing to the overall debate surrounding this issue. Here are some links to assist in further research:

I find this article very interesting, I like how you broke down the idealism by category of religion. I think you may find the following links helpful. http://www.righttolife.to/key-life-issues/abortion/ and Society for Protection of the Unborn Child --Amaddalena (talk) 16:42, 14 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Nice breakdown of religious stances on abortion. Aside from specifically dealing with religious stances, ideals on pro-life from secular sources and pro-choice from religious sources would be extremely interesting: http://www.secularprolife.org/ and http://rcrc.org/ (Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice) — Preceding unsigned comment added by S.cham91 (talkcontribs) 17:06, 14 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This is a well written article on what different religions have said about abortion. It is informative that all of the religions you stated are against abortion but still we have laws like in Canada where abortion is legal. In my view, abortion is an act of murder because the child is being killed in the womb of the mother. God gives and takes life so no mother or anyone should have the right to make a decision to take an innocent and precious life of a child. Here are some articles involving abortion: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/06/23/wisconsin-abortion-supreme-court_n_5521626.html http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/4436445.stm --Naveed24 (talk) 18:02, 14 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It is an interesting take om abortion maybe you could add some counter-points as well ,http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/7041048.stm, http://groups.csail.mit.edu/mac/users/rauch/nvp/consistent/naomi_wolf.html--2yearunistudent (talk) 17:45, 17 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Abortion is a very controversial topic and you have a good start. However you can expand on it by adding society's different views on abortion and these two sources can help you out : http://www.life.org.nz/abortion/abortionkeyissues/impact-on-society-abortion/ & http://www.aei.org/papers/society-and-culture/race-and-gender/attitudes-about-abortion/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rabiya2010 (talkcontribs) 17:08, 21 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This is a great controversial topic in our society to talk about. I like how you wrote about how each religion feels about abortion. I have found 2 cites that you may want to take a look at so you can add it to your topic. http://www.life.org.nz/abortion/abortionkeyissues/impact-on-society-abortion/ http://www.priestsforlife.org/magisterium/kucera.htm Yalini47 (talk) 17:31, 22 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Very well done! i thoroughly enjoyed reading your article and all the different views on abortion. The only way I feel you could improve this article is by furthering the data collected. You could do this by investigating more if not all other religious views of abortion. One major religious view you did not consider was Sikhism. You can find their view of abortion in the library data base. The article that i found that touched base on this topic was "Bioethics for clinicians:19 Hinduism and Sikhism". Although it does discuss both religions I feel it would still be worth while to try and uncover all religious views of abortion. Other then researching the other religious views I feel you conducted a very informative article.--DonkoC88 (talk) 18:02, 11 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
