Wrong Intent

[edit]

Hello, I put my link on for several reasons: one-I am considered a master illustrator and just recently finished a series that was funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities. Two-I noticed that on several pages, there were links to examples of the category and I think that is good. Those of us who have been around for a long time are mentors for those 'coming up' professionally! Hardly anyone knows what gouache is (for instance)and I happen to use it in a rather unusual way. Do what you wish...Happy Holiday, LHBarker

Hi LHBarker, while we welcome your contributions of content, as an increasingly popular website we have had to become quite defensive about external links that appear to promote other websites. Because of this we have a guideline that owners or agents of sites may not place a link to their site directly on the article page. See our external links guidelines for more details. Your links have been reverted, but we encourage you to help out that next generation of artists and the general public by continuing to edit. As an artist your contributions could be of great benefit to the encyclopedia. Please see our welcome page for more on how to contribute effectively. thanks, --Siobhan Hansa 22:38, 14 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
