Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Protestantism. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. JeffUK 21:54, 9 October 2025 (UTC)
- Respectfully, I fail to see how this is my personal opinion. The Protestant Reformation started in 1517, and ended near the start of the 18th Century. How can any denomination that began after this be considered Protestant?
- Non-Denominationalism is founded on the idea that it is NOT a denomination, and there are various non-denominational churches which disagree with the 5 solas of Protestantism. Therefore by definition it cannot be Protestant.
- Some of the sources on the wikipedia website itself distinguish between non-denominational and Protestant.
- This can be seen with Plymouth Bretheren too which on the website is called Protestant, when the very officials and founders of Plymouth Bretherenism do not see themselves as any denomination at all. Protestantism refers to denominations which came out of the Protestant Reformation.
- If I re-did my edit by adding a lot of sources would it be more acceptable? KuTakBisaOmong (talk) 02:15, 10 October 2025 (UTC)
- If you leave the existing content, for example, instead of removing the denominations entirely, add some information on how some (who) do not view them as protestants, that might be interesting. JeffUK 08:07, 10 October 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you for the clarification, I will try to add to the page (with relevant sources) more in the future rather than deleting at all. KuTakBisaOmong (talk) 06:06, 11 October 2025 (UTC)
