Playhouse Theatre (Seattle)

[edit]

I see nothing unencyclopedic in what I have written at Playhouse Theatre (Seattle). Can you please either make some specific criticisms on the talk page or withdraw the tag you have added? - Jmabel | Talk 00:55, 6 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Not a good idea per WP:UP#Games. Please consider spending your time making valuable edits to Wikipedia. Regards, BlazerKnight (talk) 07:48, 8 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use File:Johncaponera.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Johncaponera.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. dave pape (talk) 02:36, 9 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Magnus eikrem

[edit]

Re Magnus eikrem: long-established consensus is that youth and reserve team players aren't notable. See WP:FOOTY. NawlinWiki (talk) 22:09, 9 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Fine, I'll create a subpage and move it when he becomes a notable player. Я£ΙИӺΘЯСΣĐᴙᶕᵻᴎᵮᴓᴚᴐᶒᵯɘᴎᴛᶊTalk 22:12, 9 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, wondered if you could help me with the infobox thing at the top of the page, there is a different image that would be better to be displayed at the RandstadRail station, which was the file i had already got there but couldnt work.

Any help? Chris0693 (talk) 18:44, 12 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I fixed the imaging problems. What it was, it was that someone put in the wrong file name for the imaging. A little searching around and I found the right name and file.
Glad to be of service, Я£ΙИӺΘЯСΣĐᴙᶕᵻᴎᵮᴓᴚᴐᶒᵯɘᴎᴛᶊTalk 21:18, 12 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Content of Tweets — typo

[edit]

There's a serious typo in this picture of yours: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Content_of_Tweets_Graphed.png It states "controversial" while the original study (and the Twitter wikiarticle) says "Conversational". Could you fix that, please?

Twinkle & rollback

[edit]

Hi, I reverted to an earlier version on the United States Senate elections, 2008 article. Have you considered requesting rollback? It's very fast. Regardless, you can install Twinkle in your prefs, which is similar to rollback, and has more options, although it is not nearly as fast. If you have any questions you can ask, but leave a {{talkback}} notice on my talk page. :) PS as a little homo, i love the purpleness on the userpage =] Tom A8UDI 03:56, 2 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I've got Twinkle installed, but how do I undo edits with it like I see on Recent changes? Or am I confused with another gadget? Я£ΙИӺΘЯСΣĐᴙᶕᵻᴎᵮᴓᴚᴐᶒᵯɘᴎᴛᶊTalk 04:14, 2 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
You need to request for rollback in order to rollback edits on the RC. Just leave a message at User_talk:UpstateNYer and request it. I'm fairly positive you would be granted access to the tool, seeing you have at least 200 edits and some anti vandalism experience. Twinkle is more ideal for looking at diff links and looking at a user's contributions. Twinkle is not nearly as fast but it does have some handy benefits, specifically it has the ability to revert to an older version, which RB can't do. A8UDI 13:07, 2 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hey, I updated my page: User:A8UDI/Rollback. Tell me what you think! A8UDI 11:19, 3 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Excellent page! However, you should add to the page (Tag: References removed) for some new users may be confused. Я£ΙИӺΘЯСΣĐᴙᶕᵻᴎᵮᴓᴚᴐᶒᵯɘᴎᴛᶊTalk 15:27, 3 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
 Done and I added a lot of goodies too. Enjoy! A8UDI 01:12, 4 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

December 2009

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, we must insist that you assume good faith while interacting with other editors, which you did not on A Serious Man. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. This was not vandalism[1] and I suggest you be more careful in the future about such a gross insult and inappropriate edit. -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 21:46, 2 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Alright dudette, I made a bad edit. However, I did not try to mean to insult you by saying it was vandalism, I misclicked the wrong button. We good now? Я£ΙИӺΘЯСΣĐᴙᶕᵻᴎᵮᴓᴚᴐᶒᵯɘᴎᴛᶊTalk 22:33, 2 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
If an editor has provided an edit summary you can usually be confident it is just a difference of opinion rather than vandalism. Although I have even had editors complain when I called it vandalism when people (IP addresses not logged in accounts) deleting referenced content without any explanation, which I think takes a big leap of faith not to assume vandalism. Now I try to avoid the word as much as possible since it is too loaded and suggests blame, even if the edit doesn't look kosher to me, or is generally a bit dubious. Best of luck. -- Horkana (talk) 22:57, 2 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Wrong button? Maybe we need to file a bug against the script/bot/program and urge the programmer to use a wording that is less likely to offend? -- Horkana (talk) 23:21, 2 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know what you mean by that, I'm sorry. I meant that since she is an established user, I thought she just made a bad edit, and I was trying to help. I meant to click on [rollback], however, I clicked on [rollback VANDAL]. May you explain what you mean by your above statement? Thank you, Я£ΙИӺΘЯСΣĐᴙᶕᵻᴎᵮᴓᴚᴐᶒᵯɘᴎᴛᶊTalk 23:27, 2 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. It does happen, but please be more careful in the future, especially if you want to acquire rollback rights. -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 23:30, 2 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
