The article Unexpect has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This happened because the article seems to be about a person or group of persons but it does not indicate how or why that person or group is notable. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. You might also want to read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles.

Re:UneXpect article

[edit]

As you claim notability I've restored Unexpect. It can still be taken to articles for deletion. Take a look at Wikipedia:Notability (music). If you can identify from that why the band is notable I'll happily leave the article alone, otherwise I may put it up on AFD. That page will also hopefully give an idea as to why other band pages are allowed to stay. Hope that helps, Petros471 16:49, 29 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm still not convinced that the examples you raise fully meet those points, however I'm not going to pursue it any further (i.e. I won't nominate it for deletion, of course someone else might still do so). Petros471 08:13, 30 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.
