Please do not use styles that are unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Northeast Asia. Additionally, please remember this is en Wikipedia and the Sea of Japan is the most common name in English. That is why we have the manual of style. I'm perfectly aware of the dispute. The presence of the name in the MOS is because consensus has determined that name should be used on Wikipedia, as the most common English name. Talk:Sea of Japan#Requested move (2010) may also be helpful reading. You will need to start a discussion on the talk page, if you seek to change that consensus, otherwise the agreed upon name should be used. Prodego ^talk 06:49, 22 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Since the current naming for the Sea of Japan in Wikipedia has been arrived at after a long debate, your attempt to change our usage is unlikely to succeed.
