Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one or more of your recent edits to Chicago Fire Soccer Club has been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 21:49, 10 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Real Salt Lake, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. A video game fan page is not a reliable source Walter Görlitz (talk) 06:19, 14 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did on Luis Silva. This violates Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. please stop editing against WP:OPENPARA Walter Görlitz (talk) 00:07, 17 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to FC Dallas does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! You're still not explaining why you're changing the nationality for the players in the rosters you're updating. Please explain the changes and why you're making them. You may also want to read the guidelines at WP:OPENPARA and Wikipedia:WikiProject Football/Players and the follow-up note on nationality before you change a player's nationality again. If you don't like those guidelines, you should discuss at the correct location. Walter Görlitz (talk) 23:06, 20 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Again no edit summary with today's edit. You still have no clue about how Wikipedia looks at a player's nationality. Walter Görlitz (talk) 17:47, 22 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I'll assume the RSL edit came while I was leaving the last edit. Cheers. Walter Görlitz (talk) 17:52, 22 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

To address your edit summary, "According to the website of MLS, it states that Jesus Ferreira has been in camp for the youth national teams of the US, he has played games for the u17 coming off the bench. His hometown is in Dallas. Efrain Alvarez was born in the US but is listed as mexican nationality because he is called up for the mexican u17 team. This is in the same case for Jesus Ferreira like Efrain", being called-up by a national team is not the same as being capped (played) by a national team. I suggested that you raise your questions at the football project but you decided to continue to push your point through edits. If Ferreira has played recognized matches for the USMNT, provide the source at the subject's article. I could not find any support for it though. Blocked indefinitely

[edit]

Hi, I'm sorry to say that I have blocked your account indefinitely. You've continued editing disruptively in spite of numerous warnings and numerous attempts to discuss the issue with you. Communication is required, and failing to respond to attempts at communication is itself considered to be disruptive. On top of that, you've disappeared immediately after a complaint at AN/I was opened against you. You've been given ample time to respond, but this is a clear indication that you're attempting to evade scrutiny. If you would like to continue editing here, please provide assurances that you have read and are willing to comply with WP:V and WP:COMMUNICATE, and will address the issue with your edits with Walter when you return. As long as you do this, I will be happy to unblock you. Information on requesting an unblock can be found here, I strongly advise you to read it. Swarm 06:07, 26 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
