I've made a new sandbox under my userpage for the draft, because I found it difficult to format and structure it here, and so please leave a comment on what you think should be changed to make it better/ improve it. The name is User:Davyani123/sandbox2 Davyani123 (talk) 19:39, 24 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I've got a buncha stuff on my sandbox about Biofuelwatch, but I'm kinda having troubles with all the technical wikipedia stuff. You can take a look if you want or you can help me to post the stuff onto your sandbox or whatever since we're in the same group. DominicMullaly (talk) 04:13, 23 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Mykala's Peer Review

[edit]

Your lead section is strong. It is clear and easy to understand. That being said, there are some areas that could be improved. First, watch your punctuation choices. For example, there a few misused commas and prepositions that make the flow of the article choppy. Second, you could link more terms in your article that appear for the first time to other Wikipedia articles. This will help increase the traffic to your own article once it is finished! For example, human rights, biodiversity, United States, United Kingdom, Global Forest Coalition and photosynthesis can all be formatted into links.

The structure of your article could use some work. I would move the biofuel trends closer to the bottom of your article and move ideology up further. Also, you should consider adding some more sections such as history, organization structure, and criticism to create a more complete and well-rounded article. The formatting of your article is inconsistent. Under some headings, you use bullet points, under others you don't. Do not use bullet points for your article unless you are listing things. Finally, the sequence of your headings is confusing. It looks like there are "talk" notes within the article. It is very confusing and difficult to tell if it is supposed to be part of your article or not.

The article does a good job of remaining neutral. However, a section on controversy could be added while still maintaining the unbiased integrity of the article.

You have only cited information from two sources. To improve the quality of your article you should reference more sources. Also, there is trouble with both of the references you have listed: The first one brings up an error when trying to access the PDF while the second reference is not properly cited and does not return an available website as it requires a MUN login password. You will need to fix this before fully publishing the article.
