2AM is a South Korean R&B/ballad group under Cube Entertainment, but was trained by JYP Entertainment. They are a sub-group to the boy band One Day, and their counterpart is the dance/hip hop group 2PM. Although 2AM is not as adept in dancing as 2PM, they specialize in singing with their wide range of vocals and impressive harmonizations. They officially debuted on July 11, 2008 KBS Music Bank performing the song "이노래 This Song".

History

Predebut

Along with the members of 2PM, 2AM appeared on the documentary "Hot Blood," which documented their very rigorous training program. However, Changmin is the only member of One Day to not appear in the documentary, making him a sort of mystery to fans. Also, 2AM leader Jo Kwon holds the record as the longest trainee in JYP Entertainment, having completed 2567 days of training.

Debut

2AM made their debut performance on KBS Music Bank performing "This Song," which talks about a man who has nothing left to offer his love except for one song, hence the title.
