Blanking your user page

[edit]

Hello!

I noticed that you used your user page to create a draft article for NCEF and that you then created the article BoatUS. In order to avoid giving the impression that the version of the article on your user page is the most current version, and because userspace is not intended to "indefinitely archive permanent content that is meant to be part of the encyclopedia" (see Wikipedia:User page#Copies of other pages), I have blanked the content of your user page. It is still accessible in the page history if you wish to access it for any reason, and you can of course add appropriate content to your user page again.

Please contact me if you have any questions. Cheers, –BLACK FALCON (TALK) 22:18, 12 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading File:Boatus 4x4 logo res130.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 03:26, 18 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
