Jeffery O'Brien has been proposed for deletion. An editor feels this is more of an advertisement than an encyclopedia article. Please review WP:NOT for why Wikipedia rejects certain articles. Improve the article if you can.

If no one objects to the deletion within five days by removing the prod template, the article may be deleted without further notice. NickelShoe 03:27, 22 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Dynamic Asset Allocation (CPPI) has also been proposed for deletion. Please review WP:CORP for the relevant guidelines. NickelShoe 04:19, 22 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This biography has been edited to remove non-relevant information. This bio is comparable to contributions about other financial services leaders such as Abigail Johnson of Fidelity Investments. Info@onefinancial.com 15:40, 23 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add commercial links (or links to your own private websites) to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. You are, however, encouraged to add content instead of links to the encyclopedia as we drive for print or DVD publication; see the welcome page to learn more. ONE Financial

[edit]

I have edited my contributions to remove all non-relevant information. The ONE Financial profile is comparable to profiles for other financial services companies such as AGF Funds Inc., AIC Limited, CI Mutual Funds Inc., Manulife Investments, Fidelity Investments, all of which provide links to their corporate websites. This is a well established precedent.

My goal is to contribute factual information about the structured investment category which has grown in significance in response to volatile market conditions over the last five years. This content has been edited specifically for this use, in agreement with the fair use terms of the Wikipedia environment. Info@onefinancial.com 15:40, 23 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Notability of ONE Financial

[edit]

A tag has been placed on ONE Financial, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Jauerback 15:44, 6 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
