Information icon Hello, I'm Yamaguchi先生. An edit that you recently made to Talk:Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami seemed to be a test and has been reverted. If you want to practice editing, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. What is the purpose of this comment at Talk:Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and similar comments being made elsewhere?

Please advise prior to any further disruption. Thank you. Yamaguchi先生 (talk) 16:50, 10 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Yamaguchi, the purpose of my comment there at that talk page and similar comments of mine at other talk pages is to point other editors towards more opportunities to improve the articles that matter to them in ways that probably will not lead to any drama.
So, no, that edit on the talk page was not a test, but sort of a request on what exactly could be imprvoed at the exact locations within the article page at the momenr when these edits of mine are being made.
I am, of course, open to any suggestions to trim down the resulting texts or adjust my methodoloy to them to make them more understandable to more editors, if they currently are a bit too cryptic at this time.
Just in case that I left you wondering even further, my pattern is to provide these suggestions on talk pages of articles that recently got indefintely protected for one reason or another, which is also why I got the username that I got.
Have a great morning, day, evening or night! IndefinitelyProtectedArticleTalker (talk) 17:17, 10 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Correction: moment
Sorry for the typographic error there. In fact, also sorry for my typographic errors on some of the other talk pages too. IndefinitelyProtectedArticleTalker (talk) 17:20, 10 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
On a different note, has my edit actually been reverted there? Because I can't see the revert. Or does it take a moment, until such a particular change becomes visible? IndefinitelyProtectedArticleTalker (talk) 17:27, 10 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Wikilinking

[edit]

Please could you explain how your posts on "wikilinking" are supposed to improve the project. They seem totally pointless and are not helpful at all. you appear to be wasting your time, and other editors who read them.

Either stop doing it and start doing something a little bit useful, or stop altogether. Thanks. - Walter not in the Epstein files Ego 20:56, 11 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

My posts on "wikilinking" are in fact pointers on issues that I came across within the given article, which should soon enough prove itself to be of assistance to others users in the pursuit to improve the project and the articles contained within.
I am, as I have said here before, open to suggestions to make those posts more clear, if they are being deemed somehow cryptic at leeting people find the exact spot of the exact issues and get to understand what exactly the problem is about.
Of course, I am always willing to elaborate on each point made within these "wikilinking"-posts too. IndefinitelyProtectedArticleTalker (talk) 21:13, 11 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Correction: letting
I apologize for the typographical error there. IndefinitelyProtectedArticleTalker (talk) 21:14, 11 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Are you being deliberately obfuscatory?
Please just explain at least one of your cryptic points, of which there are many. Perhaps explain one of the ones on North Africa where I came across them, only to discover that all of your posts on the project are equally unfathomable. Thanks. - Walter not in the Epstein files Ego 22:38, 11 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
