You say you are working at UMBA. This gives you a conflict of interest, which you cdeclaredon your userpage, but I need to ask you ify ou are writing the bios of other people there as a fellow employee, or as a staff member whose job include the writing of such material, or other public relations. In general, describe the work, but do not explain the basic biology or the possible future applications.If you refer to specificwork, it needs a citation.

Some additional links to other Wikipedia articles are also desirable.

Even more important the extensive nature of the research focus" as compared to other bios you have written, alongw ith the absence of the necessary references, might indicate that some or all of it has been copied or closely paraphrased fromsome previous published website or other source. I am aware that organization names as usernames are permitted and even encouraged on the German Wikipedia, but they are not allowed on the English Wikipedia. Accounts also may not be shared or associated with a position. Each account should be exclusively used by a single individual. as the original account used the name of the research institution and therefore violated the rules, I request a new username to which only I will use. Also, this account is not used for business promotion, but for the creation of pages with content relevant to the public, such as scientists related to the fields of stem cell research, RNA research, cancer etc.

Hi Yamla - I work in the Communications Department at the Institute of Molecular Biotechnology and understand I need to address concerns about a conflict of interest connected with updating information about the Institute of Molecular Biotechnology's Wikipedia page. I want to make sure we follow the best practices of editing Wikipedia pages, including using a single-user account and stating a conflict of interest. Sometimes, our edits are minor like updating the number of research groups currently at the institute, while other times, it's more significant, like creating a new entry for a group leader.     Hi 331dot. It sounds like the institute where I work should not use an institute account to edit its Wikipedia page. Rather, an individual on the Communications Team should create their own private Wikipedia account and use their account to edit the page for https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Institute_of_Molecular_Biotechnology.     Yes, organization accounts are not permitted on the English Wikipedia, though I understand that they are on other Wikipedias(and some even encourage them). The rule here is, one person, one account, and that person may not share access. Now, if you tried renaming this account, it would also be renamed on other Wikipedias. If you want to keep this name on other Wikipedias where group accounts are allowed, we can change this block to permit you(or others at your organization) to create an individual account for yourself for your use here. However, you will need to make an unblock request while still logged in to this account here, and address the concerns that Yamla gave in his decline message above.
