Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Institutional bullying
[edit]
A tag has been placed on Category:Institutional bullying requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a recently created redirect from an implausible typo or misnomer, or other unlikely search term.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Sjö (talk) 08:38, 7 September 2025 (UTC)
Introduction to contentious topics
[edit]You have recently edited a page related to gender-related disputes or controversies or people associated with them, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia's norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practices;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

- Absurd. Even left-handedness is an, ugh, 'contentious topic' if the approach to it is making it more difficult to confront that it needs to be — Preceding unsigned comment added by Homotextual Sects (talk • contribs) 10:46, 7 September 2025 (UTC)

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, such as at Talk:Misogyny, please be sure to sign your posts (but never when editing articles). There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button
located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. —Sangdeboeuf (talk) 11:25, 7 September 2025 (UTC)
Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. MrOllie (talk) 00:39, 12 September 2025 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, you may be blocked from editing. MrOllie (talk) 03:21, 12 September 2025 (UTC)
- What's the analytical step between noticing discrimination against women and identifying it as manifestation of misogyny? .. failing to distinguish it from the polite, (promoted-as)beneficial forms of discrimination?Unable to detect username 08:39, 12 September 2025 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Doug Weller. I noticed that you made a comment on the page User talk:Mfield that didn't seem very civil, so it may have been removed. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Doug Weller talk 07:46, 12 September 2025 (UTC)

- Copying this reply with slight corrections to your comment on my talk page about the deletion of your userpage for future reference and visibility.
- The content of the above delete userpage could have merited an indefinite block for the homophobic references[1] contained within it alone. Now that i re-read it am somewhat re-thinking my decision. You have also jumped directly in as a new account to editing contentious topics and clearly are not new user based on your use of policy references. I strongly suggest you refrain from any posting any further such comments either in any space including userspace. You are entitled your have your opinions but you are not entitled to post them on a community site where clear community consensus exists about what is considered acceptable speech and what is offensive. Further Wikipedia is not a webhost, and if you want to publish opinions that the community considers unacceptable, and that are not relevant to this project, you should start your own website to do that. Blocked
[edit]Hello, Homotextual Sects. I've been looking for some actual useful and/or collaborative edit amongst your 77 contributions, and finding nothing. Instead, I find things like this attack on Mfield, this repeated insertion of absurdly lengthy and barely relevant text (WP articles are supposed to summarize their subjects), your general crusade against Rotary by means of inserting fake "See alsos" referring to no article (these are always reverted for this explicit reason, which has not stopped you from inserting more), and your insertion of fake See alsos and ditto categories in Edgewood Arsenal human experiments. You have been indefinitely blocked as not being here to help create an encyclopedia. You can request unblock from an uninvolved administrator by placing {{unblock|your reason here}} on this page.
