A barnstar for you!

[edit]
The Copyeditor's Barnstar
Assalamu Alykum, I feel happy to award you Copyeditor's barnstar for your excellent contribution to List of students of Mahmud Hasan Deobandi. You are making a difference. Aaqib Anjum Aafī (talk) 01:29, 13 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you Aaqib bhai for your love and kindness. I humbly request you to provide a translation of this insightful article for Urdu Wikipedia as well.--Hindustanilanguage (talk) 19:16, 13 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

List of Darul Uloom Deoband alumni

[edit]

This is what I was thinking. I had also created List of Darul Uloom Deoband alumni and tried to start it on Urdu Wikipedia. However, University assignments have kept me busy a lot. I'll do this soon InShaAllah. The latter article needs some copyedit's as I recently changed its format to table. Please fix it. Thanks - Aaqib Anjum Aafī (talk) 05:55, 14 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Important notice

[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in post-1932 politics of the United States and closely related people. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Avoiding an edit war

[edit]

Hi Hindustanilanguage,

as a rule of thumb, when you are the person who has created a section in an article, you shouldn't be the person edit warring it back in after it has been removed. Please see WP:RFC for a possible way to continue less disruptively.

Best regards,
~ ToBeFree (talk) 22:58, 30 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello ~ ToBeFree, I hope you'll appreciate that my last edit of the Namaste Trump was as per Wikipedia:Requests_for_page_protection/Rolling_archive#30_May_2020 (#Namaste_Trump sectiion) suggestion. Before I could reach out to the IP on the talk page, (s)he undid my edit. Thereafter, all arguments and edits remained confined to the talk page and NOT the article. I now request you to please go through the talk page and the article Namaste Trump and help in deciding whether or not to reinstate the removed paragraph. Also, I am not averse to any verbal modification or CE, if you feel it that way. --Hindustanilanguage (talk) 09:12, 31 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
