[edit] Hello, I'm Jtrrs0. I noticed that you recently removed content from National Logistics Corporation without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Hello, Hashjam, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia. Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this, and users who misuse multiple accounts may be blocked from editing. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please disclose these connections. JBW (talk) 21:43, 5 May 2024 (UTC)
Hello, Hashjam. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{edit COI}} template)—don't forget to give details of reliable sources supporting your suggestions;
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest § How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam § External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. JBW (talk) 21:43, 5 May 2024 (UTC)
Block
[edit]
Over the course of 15 years a very large proportion of the editing of the article National Logistics Corporation has been done in violation of Wikipedia's policies and guidelines on conflict of interest, promotional editing, and neutral point of view, and the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use on paid editing, using at least 13 accounts. Almost all of us, when we start editing Wikipedia, know little or nothing about Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, so nobody can be blamed for starting out doing things that are contrary to policies and guidelines that they don't know about. However, continuing to do the same things after being told about the relevant policies and guidelines is a different matter. At least five of the accounts have received messages explaining the requirements, and at least three of the accounts have responded to those messages, confirming that they had been read. Some of the accounts have been blocked from editing, and have then posted messages responding to the blocks, so the message that such editing is not acceptable has clearly been received. At least one account was created shortly after another account had been blocked, which makes it seem plausible that the new account may possibly have been created for the purpose of deliberately evading the block.
A shorter version of all that is that the organisation you are working for has no intention of conforming to the requirements for editing Wikipedia, including the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use, which are a legal requirement for editing. This account has therefore been blocked from editing. Also, since blocking accounts has in the past failed to stop you from editing in violation of the requirements, the article will also be protected to restrict editing. If necessary it will be possible to impose more stringent restrictions on editing the article, possibly even so far as to prevent anyone other than Wikipedia administrators from editing, but I hope you won't choose to make that necessary, because the more restrictions we impose to stop you from abusing Wikipedia the more inconvenience it will also cause for legitimate editors. Unless and until a Wikipedia administrator decides to unblock, neither the person who has used this account nor anyone else acting for or on behalf of the National Logistics Corporation has permission to edit at all, apart from talk page edits to request an unblock.
If you are interested in starting to contribute to Wikipedia in conformity with the policies and guidelines, you may request an unblock. To do so, first read the guide to appealing blocks and then add the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of this page, replacing "Your reason here" with appropriate text.JBW (talk) 14:04, 25 April 2025 (UTC)
