placement of evaluate an article

[edit]

The evaluate an article assignment auto creates a user/student/evaluate an article page. I have answered questions and left the full evaluation within that page. However, The instructions on the schedule state, "For the Evaluate exercise use the Norris Church Mailer article and post your evaluations on its talk page." The template that is created for the assignment notes only to place the last optional exercise on the articles talk page. (Optional in the template but not actually optional.) It does not seem appropriate for the class to place the full evaluation on the talk page of the article. Please clarify the placement of the Evaluate an Article assignment? @Bamcclure18: The form is not your evaluation, but notes toward that. An evaluation would be a summary—about a paragraph sould do. —Grlucas (talk) 12:49, 19 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Project Article

[edit]

Will you give an approval on the choice of article to edit for P2 or can I just run with my first choice? Bamcclure18 (talk) 23:52, 27 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Bamcclure18: What is your first choice? —Grlucas (talk) 11:57, 28 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Grlucas: Update and expand Beekeeping article. I was a beekeeper for 5/6 years, until the 3rd kid came along, so its an interesting topic that I have background in. Bamcclure18 (talk) 12:26, 28 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Bamcclure18: Could you, please, link to the article so I could have a look? —Grlucas (talk) 14:37, 28 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Grlucas: My apologies - Beekeeping thanks. Bamcclure18 (talk) 19:46, 28 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Bamcclure18: Well, this article seems like it's in pretty good shape. What do you intend to do? (I mean you can really choose whatever you want, but just be sure you have enough work to be equivalent to a major project for the class.) —Grlucas (talk) 12:33, 29 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Peer Review

[edit]

Am I the only person that needs help in the class? My apologies..... So for the peer article - Should I give feedback on what exists currently regardless of who created it? Wait for the user to make additions? or simply pick something else? maybe all of the above? I'm behind on the assignment and would rather ask instead of do the work incorrectly. Additionally - Do I wait for peer review to move my article over or simply move it when i'm finished? Thanks Bamcclure18 (talk) 02:46, 12 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Bamcclure18: Never apologize for asking for help. Others have asked on other talk pages. You may approach the peer review in any way you think is logical. As for your last question: did you write an article from scratch? If so, you should probably go through the process and submit it that way rather than move it yourself. —Grlucas (talk) 10:59, 12 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
