Notice

[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in the Russo-Ukrainian War. Due to past disruption in this topic area, the community has authorised uninvolved administrators to impose contentious topics restrictions—such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks—on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, expected standards of behaviour, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

Additionally, the following restriction(s) apply to this topic area:

  • Only extended-confirmed editors may make edits related to the topic area, though editors who are not extended-confirmed may post constructive comments and make edit requests related to articles within the topic area on article talk pages. Should disruption occur on article talk pages, administrators may take enforcement actions against disruptive editors and/or apply page protection on article talk pages. However, non-extended-confirmed editors may not make edits to internal project discussions related to the topic area, even on article talk pages. Internal project discussions include, but are not limited to, Articles for deletion nominations, WikiProjects, requests for comment, requested moves, and noticeboard discussions.

For additional information, please see the guidance on these sanctions. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

@Gooll: This means you cannot make any edits about the war, broadly construed, such as this Mellk (talk) 23:25, 12 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, check out how i improved the visuals of the page Gooll (talk) 00:21, 13 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I added this unit based on the info it says on its page. It says that the leader of BOAK was also a spokesperson of this unit, and that the unit is overall made up of international volunteers. Gooll (talk) 00:28, 13 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, but you are still prohibited from making edits related to the war. Please check WP:RUSUKR for more information. I am afraid that continuing to make such edits may result in a block. Mellk (talk) 12:19, 13 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Do you mean literally any edits? Gooll (talk) 12:29, 13 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
If your edit is about the war in any way (for example anti-war protests or partisans sabotaging the war machine), then yes, I am afraid that this would violate the restriction. I know this may be disappointing but the purpose of the restriction is to ensure that editors have enough editing experience before they start editing the most controversial areas. You are still welcome to use the talk page. See also edit requests. Mellk (talk) 12:33, 13 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Can i ping you when i post suggested edits on the talk page? Gooll (talk) 12:37, 13 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Sure. Mellk (talk) 12:38, 13 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Russian partisan movement (2022–present), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page FSB. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 07:54, 13 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2025 anti-corruption protests in Ukraine, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Holos.

"Operation Midas"

[edit]

So what's the deal with "NABU and SAP execute Operation Midas exposing corruption of Zelensky's close friend Timur Mindich"?

Most (if not all) news organizations call Timur Mindich an "ex-associate" or "ex-business partner" of Zelenskyy, and only one I've found calls him a "friend", but not one source called Timur a "CLOSE friend of Zelenskyy", specifically. So the inclusion of such information really feels like unnecessary sensationalization from my POV. So you have any sources that can back up your claim of Timur being a "CLOSE friend"? Not to be a pedant or something, but I think little details like this matters.

Also, as a side note, one comma is missing before "exposing", and I think "implicating Timur Mindich in the Energotram corruption scheme" is a bit better fitting than "exposing corruption". Reaperz 2020 (talk) 14:05, 21 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Basically it crushed rating of Zelensky, tho we havent received polls proving it yet so if you'd like you can delete it until we get new polls.
The real thing is: the controversy got so hard that even Zelensky's own party now demands resignation of what some people call "shadow president" Andriy Yermak, which Zelensky refused. There is a parliamentary crisis going on which started over the NABU operation. Gooll (talk) 15:01, 21 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
