[edit] Hello. Your recent edit to 2012 appears to have added a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person, organization or product added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Stuartyeates (talk) 00:17, 18 April 2025 (UTC)Since ancient times - how do we know?
[edit]Saw your addition "Sham Ennesim is celebrated in Egypt since ancient times." - would like for that to be true, but is there any actual proof for this? Like a description in Egyptian or, for example, Greek sources of a festival that has similar characteristics? I've seen the assertion on a lot of websites, but a lot of them also talk about a 'shemu' or "shamo" festival that - AFAIK - did not exist. So, if that part is wishful thinking, I would want to see a better source. MikuChan39 (talk) 01:57, 20 April 2025 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Suez Emergency
[edit]Hello GloriousFigure,
Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Slatersteven, and I thank you for your contributions.
I wanted to let you know, however, that I have tagged an article that you started, Suez Emergency, for deletion, because there's already a page about that topic at Suez Crisis. Please don't be discouraged; we appreciate your effort in creating new articles. To avoid this in the future, consider using the search function to find pages that already cover what you want to write about.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. If the page is already deleted by the time you come across this message and you wish to retrieve the deleted material, please contact the deleting administrator.
For any further query, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Slatersteven}}
. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~
. Thanks!

- Hello sir, thank you for your kind words may god bless you, your family and friends
- But the Suez Emergency is different than the Suez crisis. Look, Suez Emergency refers to the period of attacks on British soldiers by Egyptian nationalists in the period between 1951-56 particularly after the abrogation of the 1936 Anglo-Egyptian treaty by the Wafdist government of Mustafa Al Nahas to the final withdrawal of British troops in accordance to the 1954 Anglo-Egyptian evacuation agreement
- The Suez crisis refers to the Anglo-French-Israeli invasion of Egypt following Nasser’s nationalization of the Suez Canal. So you Mr. Slatersteven, the Suez emergency events is totally different than the suez crisis sir. GloriousFigure (talk) 09:41, 1 August 2025 (UTC)
- The place for this discussion is the article talk page. Slatersteven (talk) 09:43, 1 August 2025 (UTC)
Do not remove this tag leave it to an uninvolved admin to decide. You can make a case on the talk pages as to why it should not be deleted. Slatersteven (talk) 09:41, 1 August 2025 (UTC)
Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly..
