Information icon Hello. I wanted to let you know that in your recent contributions, you seemed to act as if you were the owner of a page. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to Wikipedia. This means that editors do not own articles, including ones they create, and should respect the work of their fellow contributors. If you create or edit an article, remember that others are free to change its content. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Hey! Thanks so much for your message. I apologise for that conduct, and I'll try to ensure that I don't do it again. What I did want to say was this - another user has appeared and has drastically edited the article. Of course, they are free to do so, but what they changed went against the hard work of countless people over many years.
The edits made were not scientifically based, they didn't reference properly, and really high quality content (made by many users) was deleted. The changes were littered with grammatical errors. Is this something that can be prevented? It doesn't seem fair that a single user can come and obliterate an article. I've posted a thread on the "talk" page and have linked the user (@Boghog).
I am more than happy to discuss changes with them, but I do hope that we can come to an amicable agreement about this. I'm going through a really tough time in my life - I have a chronic illness which may kill me, despite me being in my 20s - so any understanding means the world to me. Thank you! I'm truly sorry to hear about what you're going through, and I sincerely wish you all the best. Let's continue the discussion on edits over at the Tapentadol article talk page so we can work together constructively. Boghog (talk) 13:04, 3 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
