Multatuli

[edit]

1. Idea 919 supports the categorization. Anyway to cite the quote in Multatuli's article?
2. But was Vosmaer influential in helping Multatuli?
Iterator12n Talk 14:38, 28 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Is there a citable, external manifestation of Vosmaer's role re. Multatuli? For example, does Multatuli somewhere acknowledge the support from Vosmaer? and, maybe, put this support in perspective? (My trouble with the mention of Vosmaer in Wikipedia's Multatuli article is that it seems at variance with the picture of Vosmaer being an admirer but not somebody with the stature to help Multatuli in a substantial way. A parallel would be a sentence saying that Govert Flinck was a most valuable ally of Rembrandt, clearly an overstatement.) -- Iterator12n Talk 02:44, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
