Notability of Housman’s Athletes
[edit]A tag has been placed on Housman’s Athletes requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles that you have created yourself, as you did with Housman’s Athletes. If you do not believe the article should be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the article's talk page. There are notability and cleanup tags on this article that you created the other day. I fixed up a couple of links and added some categories, but the content needs work by someone who knows about it.
You (or someone else who knows the subject) need to go back and flesh the article out or it's likely to be deleted. See WP:N for notability criteria and WP:STYLE for the style criteria if you're not sure what to do with it. Tom 100%(talk,contribs) 14:40, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
