Information icon Hello, I'm MrOllie. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to Open Media Framework Interchange have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. Hi, this is/was my first Wikipedia contribution. I think it's relevant because AFAIK there is no other place on the Internet where the inner workings of the OMF file format is documented. If it is not published here it may be gone forever.
Please see my "Declaration of Copyright Fair Use" statement. Avid created this format, made it an industry standard, and then abandoned it.
In a sense, my source code IS the documentation the world needs to preserve this file format. With out it, a huge body of movies, tv shows, and music will be gone forever - because no one can get the docs on the file format.
Please let me know if I'm making sense. EyeBeOmfoo (talk) 00:19, 16 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia isn't a link directory, I'm afraid. This isn't a place to let people know about your software. MrOllie (talk) 00:21, 16 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
