Warning and track map for March 13-16
Can you make a quick map of the current tracks and warnings from the recent outbreak like you did here? Since Cody is busy and might not get to create the real map for a while, it would at least be sufficient for now until he is able to. The image that’s there now I just uploaded as a temp until we get a better one, which yours would suffice until Cody makes his. MarioProtIV (talk/contribs) 05:04, 18 March 2025 (UTC)
- Edit: on the list page Cody said he’s beginning to make his map, so my request looks like it’ll be unnecessary. Or you could still make it and I could try to find a use for your image somewhere else. On the other hand, I started a a draft for the Diaz tornado, seeing how it’s getting talked about, but I don’t expect to publish for quite some time due to current lack of info (it is literally just the outbreak synop and section summary copy pasted in there but at least we have a foundation to go off of.) - The reason I made those maps was solely because Cody hadn't made one; not all of the surveys are finalized anyways. EF5 12:06, 18 March 2025 (UTC)

Question from ATC Communications (16:53, 18 March 2025)
Hi EF5. I am a new user and have created this account to help get some assistance in dealing with page edits that have been made to my employee's wiki article. I have been carefully reviewing how to review, discuss, and acknowledge my conflict of interest. I have prepared a draft of what I was going to post to our article's talk page. Any advice? --ATC Communications (talk) 16:54, 18 March 2025 (UTC)
- ATC Communications, hi! First, I'll say that it's strongly discouraged from editing pages which you are related to (I really can't put enough emphasis on that). You should put {{connected contributor}} at the top of the artice's talk page... could you please link the page, though? I don't see the pages in your contribution history. :) — EF5 16:59, 18 March 2025 (UTC)
- EF5: Thanks for engaging on this. Let me first let you know that we will not do any editing of the page, ever. The user account I created was to engage in a way where I could disclose everything. The article I am referring to is: Adirondack Trust Company. There had been some edits on that page which we felt were in bad faith, biased, and disruptive. Maybe approaching vandalism. Reversion at List of Ohio tornadoes
Hey EF5 - I reverted the edit at List of Ohio tornadoes because a reliable source wasn't added along with the entry. List entries should be backed up with a reliable source so they can be verified. You're welcome to re-add the entry if you are able to provide a reliable source along with it. Thanks, ~Liancetalk 14:15, 19 March 2025 (UTC)
question
could i have help with finishing both of the drafts i've created? SillyNerdo (talk) 23:15, 16 March 2025 (UTC)
- The Canadian tornadoes one looks ready to publish at a glance and I can't find much info on Alonsa. — EF5 23:33, 16 March 2025 (UTC)

Question from Amruth Sankar MRD(Youtuber) (16:01, 17 March 2025)
I need to create an article, how to? --Amruth Sankar MRD(Youtuber) (talk) 16:01, 17 March 2025 (UTC)
- Amruth Sankar MRD, hi! The Article Wizard (clicking on the blue will send you there) should tell you all you need to know. :) — EF5 16:17, 17 March 2025 (UTC)
Solar System
In my editing runs I've found quite a few instances where Solar System is linked properly but then followed by lowercase, as in solar system. I just edited one done by you (ST Cephei, an interesting page, thanks) so thought I'd drop in to remind you that the proper name 'Solar System' is uppercased on Wikipedia. If I've missed any maybe you can take a few minutes to fix others if you recall some? Thanks. Randy Kryn (talk) 03:46, 21 April 2025 (UTC)
- Randy Kryn, thanks for the reminder. 1925 Tri-State tornado has introduced me to the world of upper/lowercase warring. I may edit more astronomical topics soon; I used to make several NGC articles daily but lost steam. — EF5 12:27, 21 April 2025 (UTC)
- In that world there is a jungle. A polite and properly named jungle for the most part, but lyons roam. Yes, uppercasing and lowercasing is one of the normal disagreements here, there are a lot of them. Strangely, a statistical anomaly no doubt, the RM's are almost always to lowercase, keeping uppercase-preferring editors on their toes to see which way the discussion is turning next and if it's a topic to comment on. I don't comment on a majority of these, maybe a large majority. Randy Kryn (talk) 12:37, 21 April 2025 (UTC)
- Wow, what a metaphor (seriously, haha.) Somehow 2021 Tri-State tornado survived a lowercasing attempt. — EF5 12:49, 21 April 2025 (UTC)

Question from Dominospizzza4348 (22:13, 5 October 2025)
hi can i be a moderator or something like that --Dominospizzza4348 (talk) 22:13, 5 October 2025 (UTC)
- Why don't you use Wikipedia:Requests for adminship and ask? You have to have 30 days and 500 edits, (you usually need around 10,000+ to be accepted), and a administrator who would agree with you to support. Luna.t5 (talk) 15:23, 8 October 2025 (UTC)
