User:DermaSensor/sandbox has been deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion—promotional content. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted. A common assumption is that the prohibition against promotional editing applies only to businesses or organizations. It applies to any topic, including a person, a non-commercial organization, a point of view, etc. Posters of promotional content may be blocked from editing. Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, and from a neutral perspective, with information from independent sources with a reputation for fact checking. DermaSensor, Inc. is a Miami-based medical device company specializing in skin cancer detection technology. The company was founded in 2009 by Dr. Maurice Ferre and Christopher Dewey, with technology developed by Professor Irving Bigio at Boston University. Cody Simmons joined as CEO in 2016.

History

DermaSensor was established to develop non-invasive diagnostic tool for skin cancer.
