Merge of backwards man
[edit]The backwards man article has already been merged (based on the input of the two editors besides yourself who have commented on the page). Please, do not revert the redirect again, as it leaves duplicate information on Wikipedia, and there is no particular reason for a stand-alone page for a minor character in a minor movie. Thank you, and happy editing! -Harmil 20:07, 3 April 2006 (UTC)
- I'm sorry that you disagree, but that doesn't make you right. I happen to disagree with you and there is no consensus. DelphicOracle 03:11, 4 April 2006 (UTC)
- Hello, DelphicOracle, and welcome to Wikipedia. Earlier today I noticed the dispute on the article about the movie Backwards Man, and I would like to let you know, that I, too, agree that the article should be merged or redirected. Just to let you know, I am going to restore the redirect; However, if you feel the input you have recieved so far does not constitute consensus, feel free to request me to bring the issue up at WP:RFC or WP:AFD. Realize that in doing this, the editors are not targeting you, but feel that the Encyclopedia would be better served having this information centralized elsewhere. Thank you, Kuzaar 16:52, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
- Hello. I do agree with you that perhaps we need to get a wider range of opinions on this matter so it doesn't devolve into an edit war. I've listed the article as a request for comment, so feel free to join in any discussion on the talk page. Joyous | Talk 01:04, 30 April 2006 (UTC)
DelphicOracle, please stop reverting the redirect of backwards man. Of all of the editors who have commented, you are the only one who feels that this article meets Wikipedia's standards for a stand-alone article. It was brought up for RFC, and as much consensus as I have ever seen on Wikipedia for such a non-notable topic was achived. Please, let it go. -Harmil 14:40, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
Vandalism
[edit]Please refrain from adding nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to Timothy Treadwell. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Also, do not falsify the edit summary by using the "minor" indicator with a significant change; it is dishonest. -Kasreyn 08:12, 27 May 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading Image:Backwards man.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image can be used under a fair use license. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. —Bkell (talk) 11:04, 1 July 2006 (UTC)
