Copyright violations
[edit]Hi, Deepvision. I saw that you created the article Bella Starr today. Unfortunately, I had to delete it because it was a direction copy of page. If you like, you can recreate the page, but it absolutely must contain original text. Cheers! – ClockworkSoul 17:21, 22 November 2005 (UTC)

Image Tagging Image:180069.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:180069.jpg. I notice the image page currently doesn't specify who created the image, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created the image yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the image on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the image yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the image also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture then you can use {{GFDL}} to release it under the GFDL. If you can claim fair use use {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or {{fairuse}}. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other images, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of image pages you have edited by going to "Your contributions" from your user page and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thanks so much. --Sherool (talk) 00:38, 2 December 2005 (UTC)
- Yes. Your other images should be taken care of as well. Thanks, Ingoolemo talk 00:17, 5 December 2005 (UTC)
This article is up on on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. I notice you uploaded the cover which may be deleted as well. There is a significant chance that this article may be speedy deleted so you should go and have your say. Capitalistroadster 03:05, 5 December 2005 (UTC)
When creating stubs (a micro-article), please put a notice (see Wikipedia:Stubs) to that effect. It just helps everyone know where work is needed. --대조 | Talk 13:28, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit]A number of the magazine covers you have uploaded and listed as fair use appear not to be. If you can't provide a good fair use rational they are likely to be deleted within 7 days.Genidealingwithfairuse 23:07, 10 March 2006 (UTC)
Image Tagging for Image:Corinne_Wahl_1.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Corinne_Wahl_1.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Thanks for uploading Image:Suzuki.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then it needs to be specified where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, consider reading fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other media, consider checking that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Boxcovers on articles about pornstars
[edit]Just to let you know, boxcovers from movies may only be used on articles that pertain to the movie the boxcover is to. Boxcovers are not meant as a fair usable way to depict the person on the boxcover. Please take a look at Wikipedia's fair use policy for more info! If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Proposed deletion of Gina Austin
[edit]
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Gina Austin, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
