I'm glad that you decided to create an account and start contributing after we talked about it, and I'm very happy to welcome you here :)

Your first edit is already very nice. You might have noticed that someone added some marks on some of the things you wrote. That's because everything on wikipedia has to be verifiable. A good rule of thumb that I like to follow is that most sentences should be cited. It makes the writing process longer, but it's also what makes articles reliable. Maybe you could add inline citations to your first contribution?
