Bundling (tradition)
[edit]In the new section Bundling Outside the United States make sure to properly spell the Kuanyama. Is there a time period or date you can add to the practice of bundling in Southwest Africa? It would be great to add other countries that have participated in the practice to this section Dr. Biro Walters Dr. Biro Walters (talk) 20:47, 1 December 2022 (UTC)
- Also, in the existing courtship practice section this can be expanded. It would be helpful to include a definition and more historical context. The Colonial Williamsburg site has some information on the practice and there is more information in the article (which is cited) by Richard Godbeer, “Courtship and Sexual Freedom in Eighteenth-Century America.” OAH Magazine of History 18, no. 4 (2004): 9–13. http://www.jstor.org/stable/25163694. Peer Review, Bundling Outside the United States
[edit]This is a great new section! I found it odd that the article focused only on the U.S.
My apologies for being unable to leave feedback during the normal assignment period.
A few suggestions, for the sake of leaving a constructive peer review,
You mention that the Kuanyama are one of 8 Bantu tribes, it might be good to clarify whether any other groups participate in bundling activities because it is slightly ambiguous whether the Kuanyama simply initiated the tradition or if they are the sole practitioners.
In the paragraph about Europe, you say "this practice" which needs to be clarified because it is unclear if you are referring to bundling as a whole or to Kiltgang specifically. It would be nice to have a timeframe for the origin of bundling in Northern Europe during your first sentence of that paragraph.
Your writing style was very concise and unbiased! 👍🏻 Fennec.cs (talk) 19:34, 15 December 2022 (UTC)
