Hello, Craigrusin1, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Brianda and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. Information icon Hello, I'm MrOllie. An edit that you recently made seemed to be generated using a large language model (an "AI chatbot" or other application using such technology). Text produced by these applications can be unsuitable for an encyclopedia, and output must be carefully checked. Your edit may have been reverted. If you want to practice editing, please use your sandbox. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Hey, not sure as to why it seemed to be AI. I saw some of my edits were reversed, so I didn't put them back. The only thing I have used AI for is citing sources. Thanks for letting me know Craigrusin1 (talk) 08:25, 23 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Don't use AI at all, including for citing sources. It makes stuff up. MrOllie (talk) 13:41, 23 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
But when I add something and press cite, it makes me put in a url link and then it makes the citation for me. How else am i supposed to do it? It's wikipedia's own citation AI Craigrusin1 (talk) 22:38, 23 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia's citation maker is not AI or any other sort of LLM. It's also not what you were using - we can see in the article histories that you left chatgpt tags in the articles. MrOllie (talk) 04:04, 24 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Okay I see it now, thanks. Yes, I used chatgpt to ask about credibility to articles (sources) that I have found. As well as new articles/journals that might be similar so when I sourced those new ones to the wiki article I guess it picks that up, sorry. Craigrusin1 (talk) 06:14, 24 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Mad Jim Bey. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Financial literacy, but you didn't provide a reliable source. On Wikipedia, it's important that article content be verifiable. If you'd like to resubmit your change with a citation, your edit is archived in the page history. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Mad Jim Bey talk 22:16, 24 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, sorry I just made my changes and simply forgot to add the citation when I finished Craigrusin1 (talk) 23:41, 24 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
