Speedy deletion nomination of ConsumerHealthDigest
[edit]
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on ConsumerHealthDigest, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. - Why can't I edit Wikipedia?
Your account's edits and/or username indicate that it is being used on behalf of a company, group, website or organization for purposes of promotion and/or publicity. The edits may have violated one or more of our rules on spamming, which include: adding inappropriate external links, posting advertisements and using Wikipedia for promotion. Wikipedia has many articles on companies, groups, and organizations, but such groups are generally discouraged from using Wikipedia to write about themselves. In addition, usernames like yours are disallowed under our username policy.
- Am I allowed to make these edits if I change my username?
Probably not, although if you can demonstrate a pattern of future editing in strict accordance with our neutral point of view policy, you may be granted this right. See Wikipedia's FAQ for Organizations for a helpful list of frequently asked questions by people in your position. Also, review the conflict of interest guidance to see the kinds of limitations you would have to obey if you did want to continue editing about your company, group, organization, or clients. If this does not fit in with your goals, then you will not be allowed to edit Wikipedia again.
- What can I do now?
If you have no interest in writing about some other topic than your organization, group, company, or product, you may consider using one of the many websites that allow this instead.
If you do intend to make useful contributions here about some other topic, you must convince a Wikipedia administrator that you mean it. To that end, please do the following:
- Add the text
{{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}}
on your user talk page. - Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:Listusers to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy.
- Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:
- Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the edits for which you were blocked.
- Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
{{unblock|Your reason here}}
below, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. - Dank (push to talk) 14:46, 9 February 2015 (UTC)

@Dank: < I will change the complete article which was called as spam, Kindly revoke the block. >
Here are a few key questions:
- Do you understand that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and not a business directory?
- Do you understand conflict of interest?
- Do you understand that to be considered for an encyclopedia article, the subject must be notable?
You are currently blocked because your username appears directly related to a company, group or product that you have been promoting, contrary to the username policy. Changing the username will not allow you to violate the 3 important principles above.Kuru (talk) 12:56, 26 February 2015 (UTC)
@Kuru: < kindly give me a chance> Yes, I completely understand that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia not a business directory. I also know the mistake of adding Google ads as Sponsors in my article.
I just want a chance to correct these mistakes and write new fresh content that meets Wikipedia guidelines. If you revoke the unblocked access then only I can submit a well searched article that meets the Wikipedia guidelines.
I submit my user name change request also kindly give me a chance, I assure you that I will not violate any rules and follow the guidelines accordingly
Thanks
- No thank you. This is not the place for you to promote your products. Kuru (talk) 00:08, 28 February 2015 (UTC)
@Kuru: < kindly give me a chance>
Is there really no second chance for me?
- Are there any other topics you're interested in editing? If the primary issue is your promotional editing, then finding another way to contribute that does not involve your COI would be acceptable. Kuru (talk) 11:26, 2 March 2015 (UTC)
@Kuru:
- The domain name Consumer Health Digest was previously used by Stephen Barrett, M.D., with help from William M. London, Ed.D., M.P.H as a free weekly e-mail newsletter. It summarizes scientific reports; legislative developments; enforcement actions; other news items; Web site evaluations; recommended and non-recommended books; research tips; and other information relevant to consumer protection and consumer decision-making. It was closed a long time back and we don't have any connection with the previous domain name. As our domain name also match with their domain name i.e. 'ConsumerHealthDigest'. ConsumerHealthDigest.com is a wholly owned subsidiary of Health Network Solutions, Inc. This well-renowned online publication relies on volunteer services of a wide network of talented and dedicated writers and researchers, encompassing a diverse cross-section of health and nutrition professionals. Our business run in two different ways providing health, fitness and beauty related information to the users around the world and we published only natural products on our website like natural news are currently doing to help heal the problem of people around the world.
- It was by mistake, I created the user name with the domain name itself. So, I am very sorry for the mistake which had been unknowingly done by me in the past and please allow me to edit the current page with new content. I promise that I will not repeat such mistakes again, so I request Wikipedia Team to kindly give me one chance.
- I will do rest of the editing and do my best to remove the promotional content by which this problem has been created. We as a team need Wikipedia page to create Google knowledge graph for our website such as created by Webmd, everyday health, natural news and other health information providing websites.
