Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana brackets

Thanks to the format change of the UEFA club competitions, the bracket with the seed number has been introduced to the brackets and we no longer need to include the final location at the top of the bracket, instead to move into the top of the teams. The basic is, the template Template:16TeamBracket is changed into Template:16TeamBracket-Info in Copa Libertadoreses, and the Template:24TeamBracket changes into Template:24TeamBracket-Info, which I yet not to do so.

Edited it on 2024 Copa Libertadores. Two pros and one cons. Pros is, the size of the article could be made smaller, and no need to look at the long words at the top in the final. Cons is, the parameters would be wrong if a line is missing. I think I have no time to do the further edits to the Libertadoreses since 2019, and the Copa Sudamericanas. I retract my opinions for Copa Sudamericanas. It is using Template:24TeamBracket-Info. Then I just need to do some adjustment and that's okay. KyleRGiggs (talk) 02:04, 31 January 2025 (UTC)

@KyleRGiggs: Well, I've looked at the mobile version of the article on the 2024 Libertadores knockouts and the template seems to work fine, and the most critical issues I identified last time around such as readability and the overlapping of team names over scores (which still appeared on the 2023 article with roundN when read in mobile version) seem to be solved. I've fixed the 2023 one and if I get some free time in the next few days I could get around to migrate the brackets for other previous editions but I make no promises. There was nothing wrong with the way the article explained Royal Pari's relegation, because they were excluded from the league by the Disciplinary Court (not the "association", by which I think you meant the FBF, and which merely abided the ruling) and the article used the correct term stated in the ruling. They were not disqualified since their results in the season were not voided, therefore the status letter D was misused, and relegation was (obviously) the practical outcome of that process. Copa Venezuela, Mineros and Bolivar

Bolivar may still finish 2nd. If Mineros lose or draw and Bolivar win, Bolivar will finish on 11 points and Mineros on 9 or 10 points. Why did you put an E for Bolivar and an X for Mineros? SportsLover1967 (talk) 08:47, 10 July 2025 (UTC)

Bolívar already played all of their matches, and they were eliminated since the previous MD. Mineros have yet to play their last one...although it seems you already found out by yourself. CodeMars04 (talk) 14:35, 10 July 2025 (UTC)
