help with an article

[edit]

Hello, I’m reaching out regarding a draft article I’ve written about a musician. The article was declined with the note that the subject lacks sufficient coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources. I understand and respect Wikipedia’s notability guidelines for music-related topics, but I’d like to clarify and ask for guidance.

The draft cites multiple interviews and features, including a full-length profile in The Post Athens, as well as coverage in TJPL News Magazine, CanvasRebel, and Bold Journey. One of the more recent sources (TJPL) includes some independent editorial commentary and is not a self-published interview. While I recognize that not all sources carry the same weight, I’ve done my best to include verifiable coverage that goes beyond passing mentions.

I understand that Wikipedia does not require a specific number of sources, but rather significant coverage from independent, reliable ones. Could you take a look at the draft and let me know if there’s something I’m missing — or if I’m interpreting the guidelines incorrectly? I’m open to feedback and would appreciate any advice on how to improve the submission so that it aligns better with policy.

Thank you for your time and help. User:Meio2934/sandbox Meio2934 (talk) 16:25, 23 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
