Speedy deletion nomination of Mexia Supermarket

[edit]

Hello, Ca,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username SnowyRiver28 and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I have tagged an article that you started, Mexia Supermarket, for deletion, because a consensus decision previously decided that it wasn't suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. If you wish to restore a page deleted via a deletion discussion, please use the deletion review process instead, rather than reposting the content of the page.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. If the page is already deleted by the time you come across this message and you wish to retrieve the deleted material, please contact the deleting administrator.

For any further query, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|SnowyRiver28}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Question from Loocyel (13:47, 21 October 2025)

[edit]

Hello, I tried to make a site page, how do i know when its been approved?? --Loocyel (talk) 13:47, 21 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, are you referring to your Draft:The Wandle Industrial Museum? That draft has not been submitted yet for review--you can do so by clicking the blue "submit" button. But before you submit it, I strongly recommending adding citations to reliable and independent sources. Unsourced articles usually are declined. See WP:GOLDENRULE help page for more info. Once your draft is accepted, you will be notified at your talk page User talk:Loocyel. Let me know if you have any more questions! Ca talk to me! 14:13, 21 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

bfdi editing

[edit]

Just a small question, you keep removing my edits but I don’t know what I am adding wrong? I am really new to editing and I am trying to do my best of making the article better. Is it because the sources that are used when I edit are not good enough to support the text or is it another reason? the bfdi guy… not really it’s actually raveCrowny (talk) 16:15, 2 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, the issue is the edits lacked sources to back up the added claims. Unless there are an independent, reliable sources to back up the claims, it is probably not due for inclusion. This is because wikiarticles should be a reflection of what independent reliable sources say about a subject, not the other way around. Ca talk to me! 16:27, 2 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I mean im really new to this so I haven’t really known how to give my text a reliable source to support it other than re-using other sources. I can’t really use a Youtube or Twitter source because of-course, it’s not appropriate. I don’t know if I should continue editing the article but thanks for letting me know. bye :) the bfdi guy… not really it’s actually raveCrowny (talk) 16:31, 2 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Anna lisa d (03:53, 5 November 2025)

[edit]

Hello, I have added some in-text citations, and I am unsure if there needs to be words I italicize, for example (Congress.gov, 1954, p. 8). In this case, is Congress.gov italicized? --Anna lisa d (talk) 03:53, 5 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
