We have a full new team at C-IBC and we are looking to delete all previous information posted about C-IBC and have a new, unbiased, non-promotional page for people to learn facts about the Canada-India Business Council. You cannot use your current username because it violates Wikipedia's username policy. Accounts are for individuals; accounts cannot represent companies, organizations or groups of people. You will have to select a new name, and guarantee that only one person will ever use this account. Sharing access to an account is prohibited for any reason.

Also, your company is not entitled to have a Wikipedia article simply because it exists. You will have to show that your company has already received significant coverage from multiple reliable and independent sources, and therefore meets Wikipedia's notability criteria. Hello, I was not the original creator of this account. Is it possible to transfer this account to my username? Otherwise, can you please advise of the steps to take to make a new page and remove this one? I am happy to provide articles regarding the organization we are looking to post information about to prove that it has received external coverage, please advise on how you would like me to proceed. Hi Danielle, I'm not an admin so they're best placed to advise on this account. Regarding the article, you'll need to read all of the pages that @Drm310 linked to above (in blue) before you start - most important are the guidelines on notability, as well as the need for reliable & independent sources.

Lots of businesses and organisations exist, but that doesn't mean that they should all be included in an encyclopedia - it's not a business directory.

If you are unblocked and your organisation meets the notability criteria for inclusion, you'll need to very carefully follow the paid editing process, then submit articles via AFC. You can look at good articles for other organisations/businesses to see what you should aim for. You can also ask for advice in the Teahouse.

Your employer should also be aware that, once an article is created, it's not theirs. Anyone can edit articles, including any negative press or controversies.
