Question about vanlifezone.com

[edit]

Hi, I noticed you added links to vanlifezone.com to two or three articles. Are you connected with the website in some way? If you are, it's not a problem, but there are some things I need to make you aware of, then some things you need to do in order to edit here. ☆ Bri (talk) 16:21, 26 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Indeed - I am not connected to the website, but I find their articles and resources relevant and valuable to the topics, as well as reliable sources.
Please let me know, if there is a citation convention that I am unaware of and if I should change my approach! BetterKnowledge4all (talk) 16:38, 26 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I was going to point you to the conflict-of-interest guidelines if you were connected, but if you are just a user and not acting on behalf of the website, then it's not necessary. However, this site may still be evaluated as to its appropriateness as a reliable source and removed if it's deemed not to qualify. ☆ Bri (talk) 16:45, 26 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. [1] MrOllie (talk) 13:37, 3 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
