Ronald W. Davis article

[edit]

Hello. This scientist has come to my notice lately, and I find him fascinating on a few levels. The article about Ronald W. Davis is short on his accomplishments in genomics. I do not work in that area, and fear to make a muck of the technical language. I did add some text to his latest project, the "nanoneedle", and his family situation, using recent articles about him, and I tried to clean up the awards list, getting sources for more of them -- and I got more interested in him in reading those sources. Are you the sort who can make the scientific accomplishments clearer? Put enough text to justify the long list of awards he has received? The Davis article is under the aegis of mainly California task forces, as he lives and works there now, but no scientific groups. Anyway, if you could take a look and then rustle up some good writers in science, I think the article would be much improved. I picked your name from the list of people in a science working group, reading your description with an interest in biology and computers. I am hoping that genomics is part of biology. I hope this is not too bold a request. If so, my apologies. --Prairieplant (talk) 04:58, 21 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Suspension of autopatrolled permission due to inactivity

[edit]

Hello Ben Moore. Following a request for comment in May 2025, the community has decided to implement an activity requirement for the autopatrolled permission. Because your account has not edited in the last three years, the autopatrolled permission has been removed from your account. This action is purely procedural and does not affect your ability to create articles; if you return to actively creating articles, you may request that the permission be restored through the normal process. When returning, please consider taking some time to re-familiarize yourself with common practices and how they may have changed over the past few years if you wish to request the permission back. Thank you for all of your contributions to Wikipedia, and we hope to see you again soon. – – DreamRimmer Alt (talk) 11:32, 14 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
