Paul Levitt Article

[edit]

Hello Ben.fredricksmeyer. I have looked at your submission about Paul Levitt and he appears to be a notable person. However, in order to establish notability of a person you will need to cite independent, reliable sources that have written about Levitt. All of the personal background information must be attributed to a published, third party source of it will be removed from the article. As well, the tone of the article is a bit too informal. This is meant to be an encyclopedia article so it must be written from a neutral point of view. Much of the background information seems to be written from Levitt's point of view and suggests you have a close connection with him. That's okay, but it just means you must be careful to ensure that you are being objective. The thoughts and motivations of Levitt probably can not be independently sourced so they should not form part of the submission. You may include references that are primary sources from cites connected to Levitt, but these will not be considered as reliable, independent sources in order to establish his notability. Most notable people have been written about or had their work reviewed, etc., by others and these types of sources will need to be included and cited before your submission will be accepted. Please continue to work on your article and revise it in accordance with the above. If I can be of any further assistance you can reach me at my talk page. Best Regards, Snowysusan (talk) 09:15, 26 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
